Your calculations stay on your device
Xidents Calc is provided by Xidents. The free edition performs calculations on your device. We do not collect your expressions or calculation history, operate an app account system, track you, display advertisements or include in-app analytics services.
Your current expression, history, memory and preferences are stored locally in the app. Calculations work without an internet connection.
Device storage and backups
App data may be included in device backups managed by Apple, depending on your settings. You can delete individual history entries in the app; unpin a pinned entry before deleting it. Deleting the app removes its local data. Backup copies are managed through your Apple settings.
Copying, pasting and sharing
Copying or sharing a calculation happens when you choose that action. Pasting uses the text you choose to paste. Information you send to another app or service is handled under that service’s privacy policy.
When you contact support
If you contact support, we use your email address and the information you provide to respond to your enquiry. Please avoid sending sensitive calculations or unnecessary personal information.
You can ask us to delete your support correspondence. Any information we are required to keep will be retained for that purpose.
When you visit this website
The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for basic measurement. If you allow it, Google Analytics measures website visits and page use. You can decline or change your choice using “Privacy choices”. Read the website privacy policy for details.
This website measurement is separate from the iPhone app. The app has no analytics and does not send us your calculations.
