Scope

This policy applies to GrammarLEE, an instructions-only writing plugin provided by Xidents. It covers Xidents’ practices for the plugin and related support enquiries. Visits to this website are covered separately by the Xidents website privacy policy.

Text you edit

GrammarLEE supplies editing instructions to the host where you use it. It has no Xidents-operated editing server, external tools, analytics or database. Xidents does not receive or collect your chat content, edited text or plugin usage data through this plugin.

This does not mean the host processes no data. In ChatGPT, OpenAI processes your prompts, responses and service information under its applicable policies and your account settings. See OpenAI’s privacy policy and the privacy controls available in your host. Xidents does not control the host’s retention, model-training settings or deletion process.

Use your host’s controls for chat or account data requests. Do not submit confidential or sensitive text unless you are entitled to share it with that host.

Support enquiries

If you email Xidents or use the website contact form, we receive the contact details and information you choose to send. We use this correspondence to answer your question and investigate the issue. Avoid unnecessary personal information; a redacted or invented example is preferable.

Business email is provided through Microsoft. Enquiries submitted through the website form are stored in Azure Table Storage, with Cloudflare Turnstile used to help prevent abuse. Providers may process information outside Australia or New Zealand. The website privacy policy explains these services and website measurement.

Keeping support information

We keep support correspondence for as long as needed to respond, provide any agreed support and maintain relevant business records. Retention depends on ongoing support, disputes and applicable record-keeping obligations; there is no fixed deletion period promised here.

Questions and requests

To ask about support records, request access, correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, email support@apps.xidents.com.au. We may need enough information to verify your identity and locate the correspondence. If information must be retained, we will explain why.

Deleting support correspondence with Xidents does not delete your chats or account data held by your host. If GrammarLEE’s data practices change, we will update this policy and its date.
