Clear information about the desktop app and the account-protected tester gift we’re preparing.

Updated 2 October 2026 · Gift service not yet live

The desktop app

Jiggler stores work hours, lunch settings and preferences locally. It uses operating-system activity and keep-awake features. It does not collect screen content, keystrokes or documents.

Accounts and tester eligibility

The planned gift service uses your Xidents account and verified tester email to check eligibility. The owner manually uploads an approved tester CSV into private Azure storage. The service does not connect to Google Forms or Google Sheets.

Sign-in providers process login according to their own policies. Successful sign-in alone does not grant product access. Gift claims are bound to a stable Xidents account so changing contact details does not silently remove a claimed gift.

Devices and downloads

The planned protected edition records a device activation identifier/key, your chosen device label, platform, app version and authorization timestamps. These records support the two-device allowance, renewal and device removal. We distinguish authorized download responses from activations; a download is not proof of installation.

Storage and privacy choices

Raw tester CSVs and release files use separate private Azure containers. The working retention policy removes uploaded source CSVs after a short review/recovery window, initially no more than seven days, while retaining the minimum eligibility and batch records needed to manage access. Account and product records remain while required to provide access or resolve a support request; deletion/export and the final retention policy must be available before the gift service launches.

Account, gift-claim and administrator pages do not use marketing analytics, advertising pixels or session replay. Necessary access, security and import audit records are separate. This public product page follows the website analytics and privacy choices.

Removing a device

Removal stops future authorization renewal and frees a device slot. An offline device may retain existing permission until expiry; the planned initial validity is seven days after renewal. Revocation cannot affect already distributed unrestricted test builds.
